TV Remote TRC is a one-time purchase application ($0.99) developed by Turca App that lets you control your Smart TV or Android TV directly from your smartphone over your local Wi-Fi network. There is no account registration, no subscription, and no cloud service. This policy explains exactly what information we handle and why.
01Information We Collect
TV Remote TRC is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
›Local Network Scan: When you open the app, it performs a one-time scan of your local Wi-Fi network solely to discover compatible Smart TV and Android TV devices. This scan is entirely local; no data leaves your device.
›No Account Required: We do not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, or any other identifying information.
›No Usage Analytics: We do not embed any third-party analytics SDK (e.g. Firebase, Mixpanel) in the app.
›No Advertising: The app contains no advertisements and no ad-tracking frameworks.
›No Cloud Storage: All app data (discovered TV list, preferences) is stored exclusively on your device.
02Permissions Used
The app requests only the permissions strictly necessary for its core function:
›Local Network / Wi-Fi Access: Required to scan your local network and communicate with your TV. No internet connection to external servers is initiated.
No other device permissions (camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage) are requested or used.
03How We Use Information
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to use, share, or sell. All communication happens exclusively between your smartphone and your television on your home network.
04Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not share any data with third parties. There are no third-party SDKs that collect data on our behalf.
05Children's Privacy
TV Remote TRC does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Because we collect no personal data at all, the app is safe for all ages.
06Data Security
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted to our servers, there is no personal data at risk on our end. All communication between the app and your TV occurs within your local network.
07Your Privacy Choices
You are always in control:
›You can revoke the Local Network permission from your device's Settings at any time (this will disable TV discovery).
›Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored app data from your device.
›Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to delete, export, or correct on our servers.

08Purchase & Payment
TV Remote TRC is available as a one-time purchase at $0.99. Payment is processed entirely by the respective app store (Google Play). Turca App does not receive or store any payment card information.
09Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
